Important: This Policy covers our website and general business operations. It is not your HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP). If you become a client, our uses and disclosures of Protected Health Information are governed by HIPAA and our NPP, which we provide during intake.

Directly from you
  • Contact details. Name, email address, phone number, mailing address.
  • Messages and form submissions. Appointment requests, questions, and other communications.
  • Scheduling and service preferences. Availability, areas of interest, and goals.
  • Payment details. Limited billing information needed to process payments. We use third-party processors and do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Automatically from your device
  • Usage data. IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, time on page, referring URLs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Pixels, tags, and local storage used for site functionality and analytics. See “Cookies and tracking” below.
From service providers
  • Appointment, telehealth, payment, hosting, and analytics vendors may provide us operational data related to your interactions with their tools.
Clinical information
  • If you become a client, clinical information and any health history you share are treated as Protected Health Information under HIPAA and governed by our NPP, not this website policy.

  • Schedule visits, manage accounts, and communicate about appointments and administrative matters.
  • Process payments and send invoices or receipts.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.

Please avoid sending highly sensitive information through unsecured channels. Once you are an established client, we will follow the communication preferences you select in your intake forms.

Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services, operate the website, comply with our legal and ethical obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Clinical records have separate retention schedules under professional and state rules.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for individuals 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

If you are a California resident, you have the rights described below with respect to personal information collected on our website and in our business operations that is not Protected Health Information under HIPAA.

  • Professional or employment information if you include it in communications.

Email info@livealigned.co or call (707) 484-2822 with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will verify your identity before acting on a request. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
Third-party websites
Our website may link to third-party sites or tools. Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies because we do not control them.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the most recent changes. Your continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
