DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

You might recognize yourself here.

→ Something from your past still shapes how you react today.

→ You notice anxiety, low mood or self-destructive patterns you cannot fully explain.

→ Your relationships keep running into the same walls.

→ Your body reacts before your mind catches up.

→ You have talked about it, and you still feel stuck.

WHAT IS ACTUALLY GOING ON

Trauma lives in your physiology, not only your memory.

Stress and difficult experiences do not just live in your memory. They live in your body, and they can shape how your nervous system reacts long after the original event is over. Your system may still be responding to old information, even when the present moment is different.

Trauma can show up as anxiety and depression, self-destructive patterns or relationship difficulties. Often its influence stays buried beneath the surface, working without your conscious awareness. That is why understanding what happened does not always change how you feel.

We use trauma-informed care with somatic tools that teach the body, not just the mind, together with ACT and support for sleep, nutrition and stress. The goal is to help you reclaim a sense of safety and agency in your own body and your life.

Our trauma therapy is for people working through the lasting effects of past experiences. It is not the right fit if you are currently experiencing active PTSD or having thoughts of suicide. If that is you, please reach out for crisis support now: call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency.
